From Lexi:
"My journey into the counseling profession was sparked by a passion for childhood development...
...and the inspiring young people I met through my service in residential treatment.
Every human is incredibly valuable, each possessing a unique set of talents and strengths with which they can contribute to the world. While life can sometimes blur these from our vision, I have witnessed how counseling brings these strengths into our awareness and empowers individuals toward positive change.
I resonate with the counseling profession’s emphasis on establishing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance. During our session, we’ll create a supportive environment where your pain is acknowledged, your feelings are valued, and your healing takes precedence. These core values are informed by the humanistic, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches to counseling I subscribe to.
Through my clinical work, I have learned the critical importance of empowering caregivers, recognizing that their support is vital to the healing process of their loved ones.

I take full advantage of my time outside of the office and classroom, I’m usually surrounded by at least one animal and juggling many hobbies. I spend as much time as possible outside and have been enjoying the multitude of trails and climbing spots that Pilot Mountain has to offer. I certainly indulge in my fair share of creative outlets, but most commonly through writing. On game days, you’ll find me cheering on my alma mater!
